Terms and Conditions

Fees are payable in advance and before the start of the selected course. Enrolment and participation is not t guaranteed or confirmed until Rera Language School has received a completed registration form and full payment by the due date. Should payment not be received by the due date, students lose the right to take part in the course.

Fees are non-refundable. Refunds are not issued for non-attendance of a class, or being absent for a period of time. However, students can request a catch-up class within 1 week of absence.

If you join mid-session, tuition will be pro-rated.

There is a 5-minute grace period after class for pickups. Families leaving children at Rera Language School for more than 5 minutes after class will be charged R50 for every 5 minutes beyond the grace period.

If there is a low number of students in a class, Rera Language School reserves the right to modify time and dates for those classes.

Enrolment is automatically renewed from course to course unless a 30 day written notice is received before the end of the current course. Should the required termination notification not be provided, the person accountable for payment will be liable to pay for the next term’s fees.

For private and family lessons, lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for.

Rera Language School fees may increase annually and students will be informed of such increases in advance.

Rera Language School recommends payment via electronic transfer (EFT). Charges are made to students where cash payments are received.

Rera Language School is not responsible for not liable for the loss, damage or injury to any person or property.

Getting to Class

Please make sure to be on time for class.
Please be on time for picking up your child and make sure your teacher sees that your child has been picked up.
Please do NOT leave your child before the class starts or unattended.
Teachers are not responsible for your child until the class starts.
Spectators are not permitted to enter classrooms while a class is in session.

Tuition
All Programs

Tuition is due on the first day of class.
No credits or refunds are given for student absences.
Reservations are not guaranteed until enrolment and payment is completed.
Enrolment requires online registration and paid deposit.
There is a five-minute grace period after class for pickups. Thereafter R50 per 5 minutes late pick up of children will be applied.
Rera Language Shool reserves the right to re-group classes.
Make-up classes must be scheduled by e-mail only. Make-up classes are subject to availability.
If you withdraw mid-session, your refund will be calculated based on the number of days attended without discounts, minus the deposit value and minus the administrative fee.

Online Classes

Students must join on or before the class starts, we recommend joining 5 minutes before.
The room will be locked after all attendees are connected, or after 5 minutes,whichever comes first, to avoid class interruptions.
Switch off cell phones/alerts or put them on silent before class begins
Do not talk over the teacher or other classmates
Mute your mic if you are not talking

Health & Safety

Remember to take your child to the bathroom and wash hands before class. It creates a distraction (and sometimes a “domino effect”) when children need to use the bathroom during the classes. Also, please provide a meal or light snack before classes.
Make sure you include any allergy information in the registration form.

Illness

Please do not come to class if you are sick. In the case of children, please do not bring a sick child to class.
